Paughco makes sissy bars that will fit the Savage brackets, although the bike looks and handles better without the extra weight. The Savage rear fender is 7.25 inches wide, as were aftermarket HD fenders during the early longbike days (60's and 70's). The majority are for rigid framed (generally late knuckle/early pan) based chops, but you should find what you need in the ironhead sportster line. They do not use the same method of attachment as the stock LS unit, so some reverse engineering will be in order. Keep in mind that any HD body part, including a couple of vintage rigid frames (opposed twin and JD,VD,VL with some new motor mount holes) can be made to work with the Savage powerplant or stock frame and tinware.
